Learn to Ride
At White Blaze Equestrian, every horseback riding lesson is tailored to the individual rider. Whether your child is sitting on a horse for the first time or you're an experienced equestrian looking to sharpen your skills, CHA Level 3 Certified Instructor Whitney designs each session around your goals, comfort level, and pace. Lessons are available on our well-trained lesson horses or on your own horse.
We're based in Sedalia, Colorado — just 30 minutes south of Denver — easy to reach from Castle Rock, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Parker, and the surrounding area. Riders ages 6 and up are welcome.
What You'll Learn
Safety, mounting, basic steering, walk and trot. Build confidence and a strong foundation in the saddle.
Cantering, diagonals, leads, and basic jumping. Develop balance, rhythm, and independent riding skills.
Course work, jumping technique, flatwork refinement, and show preparation. Push your riding to the next level.
Grooming, tacking, feeding, and understanding horse behavior. Every rider learns to care for their horse from the ground up.
